Day 10 Calgary

Good Morning everyone

Well, we had a very nice drive to Calgary and arrived at Bob & Heather's home an hour ahead of schedule without even making one wrong turn - I think I will be alright here - in Lethbridge I kept making a right turn instead of a left, and got lost a few time - I had to text "Help" to Mark a couple of times. LOL. Once again, the hospitality is great, at Mark's I had a bedroom with Internet connection, a private bath and a sitting room, and they treated us like queens. Thank you, Mark & Sharen.   Here I am again all hooked (wireless this time) up so I can 'play' on my computer! Margaret has a sister-in-law who is probably 95 living in a nursing home here, so I will try to find out where she lives, and take Marg over to visit her. Margaret and I had a little holiday in 1986 when we went to Expo 86 in Vancouver. She still talks about that and how much fun we had - it seems the Good Lord is steering us in the same direction - that is, that we should spend some tine together. She (Marg) now would like me to stay here for a few days (Bob & Heather both said I was just as welcome as their mother) and then she would like to ride back to MB with me. There is a hotel (very reasonable, where she stayed at a few years ago) about half way between here and Wpg so we will probably stay there to break up the trip. Everything is working out different, but I believe that it is working out just as it should. The stops that I had planned to make on the way will hopefully then be made on the way back.

Our drive yesterday was great, but it rained most of the way, we could see black clouds all around us, and this morning we heard that there are flight delays at the Calgary airport due to the storm last night - We must have missed the worst of it..
